Beginners Watercolour Workshop | Hydrangeas | Sun 30th Aug | 10am-12pm

Come along to our very first Adult Taster Session and spend a relaxed, creative morning learning the basics of watercolour through the beautiful shapes, colours and textures of hydrangeas.

Using real hydrangeas as our inspiration, you’ll start by sketching from observation, before I guide you through the process of building up your own A4 watercolour painting. We’ll explore simple watercolour techniques, colour mixing, layering and how to create depth and detail without getting overwhelmed by the paintbrush!

This session is completely beginner friendly, whether you’ve never picked up a watercolour brush before or you’re just a little rusty, you’ll be guided step-by-step in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

This is a taster session, designed to give you a feel for our adult art workshops before we launch our longer-term courses. No experience needed, just come along, have a play with paint and see what you can create!
